Karen is the owner of Great Workplaces LLC, a consulting business dedicated to developing leadership strength, and building capacity for strong organizational cultures and positive change.  Her expertise is designing leadership development programs, partnering as a leadership and executive coach, and providing organizational consulting primarily in state government, nonprofits and small to mid-size businesses.

Karen holds a M.Ed. from VCU in Human Resources Development and is credentialed as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), and certified in the Conflict Dynamics Profile®, Emotional Intelligence (EQ-I 2.0), Birkman® personality assessment, and is a Certified Workplace Mediator.
